Description

The FUJIFILM X-H2 redefines APS-C performance with its high-resolution 40MP X-Trans 5 BSI sensor, 64-bit image processor, and professional-grade 8K video recording. Designed for creators who demand exceptional detail, dynamic range, and color science, this mirrorless powerhouse excels in both still photography and video production.

Backside-Illuminated X-Trans 5 Sensor

The 40MP X-Trans 5 HR BSI sensor delivers incredible resolution, tonal depth, and low-light performance, making it ideal for landscape, architectural, and travel photographers. The unique X-Trans color filter minimizes moiré and enhances color accuracy, while the BSI design reduces noise and improves clarity. With up to 13 stops of dynamic range, the X-H2 also supports a 2x digital zoom without quality loss and offers reduced rolling shutter for smoother motion capture.

X-Processor 5 with 64-Bit Processing

Powered by the advanced X-Processor 5, the X-H2 achieves up to 3x faster processing speeds than previous models. This engine supports bit rates up to 720 Mb/s for video and enables high-speed continuous shooting at up to 20 fps (electronic) or 15 fps (mechanical). Capture up to 202 uncompressed RAW frames or more than 1000 RAWs in a burst for unmatched action photography. The processor also enhances AI-based autofocus performance, 14-stop dynamic range, and an extended ISO 160–12800 sensitivity.

Powerful Video Capabilities – 8K & 4K Recording

Beyond stills, the X-H2 is a formidable video camera capable of 8K/30p 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording and 4K/60p or Full HD/240p for stunning slow motion. Choose from ProRes 422 HQ, 422, or 422 LT, as well as H.265 codecs for professional post-production workflows. Continuous recording lasts up to 160 minutes, extendable to 240 minutes with the optional cooling fan.

For external recording, the full-size HDMI Type A port enables 12-bit ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW output, compatible with F-Log and F-Log 2 profiles. This provides maximum flexibility for color grading and HDR workflows.

Fast and Intelligent Autofocus

Using 425 phase-detection points and a deep-learning AI algorithm, the hybrid autofocus system detects and tracks subjects with precision—even down to -7 EV in low light. It can intelligently recognize human faces, animals, birds, and vehicles for consistent focus across diverse shooting scenarios.

5-Axis In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS)

The in-body stabilization system compensates for up to 7 stops of camera shake, ensuring razor-sharp handheld shots even in challenging lighting. Combined with digital IS for video, it delivers remarkably steady footage—ideal for handheld or run-and-gun shooting.
