Purchasing Used Equipment at Art's Cameras Plus

We have a 30 day return policy and 60 day warranty on used equipment. You are welcome to return the used item for any reason during the first 30 days, including simply not liking it. We thoroughly check and clean all our used equipment, but occasionally, we'll miss something. For this reason, we highly encourage you to try your used equipment within the first 60 days.

What is the procedure to see the used camera buyer?

When you arrive at the store, let us know that you're interested in trading-in or selling equipment. Our used camera buyer will be with you as quickly as possible. It may take some time to determine the value of your gear.

How do I get paid?

You are welcome to trade-in your gear towards new gear at our store, or you can elect to have us pay you by check. Checks are mailed and typically arrive within 1-2 weeks. 

We're definitely interested in:

  • Digital interchangeable lens cameras (DSLR or Mirrorless cameras)
  • Zoom & Shoot compact digital cameras (3 years old or less)
  • Lenses
  • Flashes

We're very selective about:

  • Film SLR Cameras & Lenses
  • Medium Format Cameras
  • Studio Lights
  • Point & Shoot Digital Cameras
  • Super Zoom or Bridge Cameras
  • Tripods
  • Hi-8 video camcorders

We're not interested in:

  • Polaroid cameras
  • Video cameras (except 8mm)
  • Dark room equipment
  • Point and shoot film cameras
  • "Antique" or collectible cameras
  • Old studio lights & stands
  • Any broken equipment
