The turnaround time for our video transfer services can vary depending on the size of each order. Smaller orders, typically consisting of fewer than 8 tapes, can typically be returned within one week. However, larger orders and reels may take between 2 to 4 weeks to complete. When you drop off your order, we will provide you with a personalized estimate based on the size and complexity of your order. Please keep in mind that turnaround times may vary depending on factors such as lab constraints, the volume of other orders, and holidays. Rest assured, we strive to complete each order in a timely manner while maintaining the highest quality standards.

The quality of the video is solely based on the original video submitted. Our primary focus is to duplicate the exact footage that is on your tape or reel. It's important to note that tapes degrade over time, and if you haven't seen the footage on a tape for years, the quality may not be as good as you remember. As technology has evolved over the past 30 years, so has our perception of what ‘good’ video looks like. When you view a video from years ago, it may not look as good as you remember due to our changing standards of high quality or it may have degraded from years of sitting. While we ensure that you receive an exact duplicate of your original footage, including any flaws visible on the original DVD or tape, we do not offer editing or cutting services. Our commitment lies in faithfully transferring your content without alteration, allowing you to relive your cherished moments exactly as they were captured. Whether it's VHS tapes, DVDs, or other formats, you can trust us to deliver exceptional duplication services that maintain the integrity of your memories.

We appreciate your interest in viewing your tape before its transfer; however, we cannot accommodate requests for viewing tapes at our store prior to transfer. For the privacy and safety of our customers and the efficient operation of our production area, we do not allow public access to our transfer studio. If your submitted tape is found to be blank during the transfer process, we understand the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause. In such cases, we offer a refund for the transfer service costs, minus a $10 fee for attempted services. This fee covers the time and resources invested in attempting the transfer. 

We are thrilled that you chose to bring in your tapes when you did, as tapes inevitably degrade over time. However, we regret to inform you that we cannot restore the quality of the video footage. Our primary focus is on duplicating the exact content that is on your tape or reel. 

We regret to inform you that we are unable to repair damaged video tapes or transfer tapes that are in need of repair. It is essential to ensure that your tapes are in good condition before submitting them for transfer to avoid any potential issues. If you have any concerns about the condition of your tapes, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team for assistance.

Unfortunately, we do not offer repair services for video reels. However, we do provide a comprehensive transfer service where we digitize the segments of your video reel and deliver them to you in a digital format. Whether your reel is experiencing wear and tear or significant damage, we are here to assist you in preserving your cherished memories. Simply submit your video reel to us, and our expert team will handle the transfer process with care and precision.

When you choose our video transfer services, your movies will be delivered in MP4 file format. MP4 is a widely supported format that offers excellent compatibility with various devices and platforms, ensuring easy playback and sharing of your digitized movies. This format also provides high-quality compression, preserving the integrity of your videos while minimizing file size. With MP4, you can enjoy your cherished memories on your computer, smartphone, tablet, or any other device without the need for additional software or conversions.

We offer two primary delivery options for video transfers: USB drives and DVDs. While both options provide a convenient way to access your digitized videos, we highly recommend USB drives as the most future-proof and versatile media. USB drives offer greater flexibility for accessing and sharing your videos across various devices. However, it's important to note that storing videos solely on a USB drive may pose a risk of data loss or corruption over time. To safeguard your precious memories, we advise transferring the videos to your computer as soon as you're home.

Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill tape orders via email or WeTransfer due to the size limitations imposed by these platforms. However, we offer alternative delivery methods to ensure that you receive your digitized tapes securely and conveniently. You can opt for delivery via USB drive or DVD.

If you happen to lose your video or the media becomes corrupt, unfortunately, we are unable to replace it. Due to limited storage capacity, we do not have the capability to retain copies of videos once they have been transferred. To safeguard your precious memories, we strongly recommend backing up your video files upon receipt.Do not store video files solely on a USB drive.Creating backups ensures that you have additional copies stored securely, reducing the risk of loss or damage.

We handle your original tapes with the utmost care and respect throughout the transfer process. Once your tapes have been digitized, they are promptly returned to you along with the newly created digital copies. We understand the sentimental value and importance of your original tapes, and we prioritize their safekeeping and return to ensure your peace of mind.
