Capturing Action Outdoors Workshop
Capture images of your children as they grow into sports, and wow your family and friends. This class will show you how to stop the action. Learn what camera settings will work best, choose the best vantage points, edit your photos for presentation, and find out what equipment will help you get the shot!

Session 1: Business Basics: This session covers basic business practices. You'll learn how to effectively promote yourself & gaining referrals, contracts and payments, equipment needs, shooting styles, the shot list, and pre-wedding activities. Wildlife Photography Workshop & Zoo Shoot 101
Presented by Tamron, this 3-session workshop will teach you in-depth lens and exposure techniques to improve your photos of nature.
Session 1: Classroom instruction by John Van Steenberg, expert photographer and trainer from Tamron. This 2-hour session will cover techniques to improve your photos in nature. We'll discuss lighting, composition, exposure tricks and which lenses to use in order to turn those nice snapshots into fantastic images. We'll spend a lot of time on wildlife shooting in preparation for session 2 – the Zoo Shoot.
Session 2: We'll meet at the Milwaukee County Zoo (parking and admission is included) for a day of shooting all the exhibits. LOANER LENSES PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE COURTESY OF TAMRON. Use the new 70-300 Vibration Correction lens, the 200-500 super zoom, or experiment with the super versatile 18-270 VC pzd all-in-one zoom. We'll have the super-wide 10-24mm and 2 different macro lenses to try out as well.
Session 3: Critique Session / Submission of Images for Photo Contest. Submit your best images andArt's staffers will show them to the group for a lively discussion on the composition, lighting angle and techniques used to capture the shot.
