Photoshop Elements 102: Portrait Retouching
This class will teach you basic retouching for portraits, taking you from analyzing your photos to a finished portrait that is ready to print. We will cover RAW processing using the Camera Raw converter found in Photoshop, and then take you into editing your portraits. You will learn the tools and techniques for fixing red eyes, color balance and correcting color c asts, skin tone correction, brightening the whites on eyes and teeth, and softening skin texture and wrinkles. We will show you how to hide blemishes, remove under-eye circles, fix stray hairs, and other common portrait problems.

We’ll discuss lighting, composition, exposure tricks, and which lens to use in order to turn those nice snapshots into fantastic images. The focus of this class is improving your nature and wildlife photos, but these techniques can be applied to all photography.
